2. SERanking
SERanking is another place where you can find a pretty big dashboard of tools that are designed to help you with your SEO and marketing efforts. When you input a URL into their Website Traffic Checker, you’ll be directed to the free version of the report, which actually includes a good number of metrics. With the free version, you can run a report on three different domains or URLs per day.
Input your own domain or a URL on your own site, or use it to research your competitors.
Although the free version is limited to three searches per day, we like that you get quite a few metrics and insights in the results! That includes:
- Estimated total organic traffic
- Number of keywords
- Traffic by country breakdown
- Top 10 keywords, including their search volumes, SERP features, and more
- Top 10 pages by organic visits
- Organic competitors
- Paid traffic keywords
Overall, SERanking provides quite a bit of data in a layout that’s easy to navigate.
3. SimilarWeb’s Chrome Extension
If you’re a Chrome user, SimilarWeb makes a Chrome extension that can quickly show you how much traffic a website gets, plus a couple other metrics that are really helpful!
Once you have the extension installed, you can just click on it while you’re visiting any website to see a graph of how much traffic the website has gotten over the past 3 months, plus an estimate of the site’s bounce rate, pages per visit, monthly visits, and average visit duration.
Beneath that, you’ll see traffic broken down by country, and a graph of traffic sources for the site including its organic, direct, referral, social, paid display ads, and email traffic.
If you click the button in the extension results to visit the SimilarWeb website, you’ll be able to access a couple more metrics as well. like the top 5 keywords and top competitors.
With the free version of SimilarWeb, you’ll be limited to 15 uses of the extension per week. In our opinion, that’s a pretty great deal for all of the metrics you’re getting.
4. Website Traffic Checker
Website Traffic Checker is part of Neil Patel’s larger set of SEO tools, Ubersuggest. You’ll actually only get one free search per day if you don’t want to create an account, but it’ll increase to 3 searches per day if you create a free account.
Website Traffic Checker is great for seeing some basic information about a domain or particular page URL. You’ll see metrics like:
- Number of organic keywords
- Estimated organic monthly traffic
- Number of backlinks
- A graph of the past 4 months of organic traffic
- Number of ranked keywords
- Top pages, including social shares
- Top keywords by country, including volume and position
The layout of this one is really clean and easy to navigate.
5. Serpstat

Like some of the other tools on our list, this free website traffic checker is part of a larger set of tools. Once you have an account and you run a traffic analysis, you’ll be brought to a dashboard with a bunch of different information.
Right away at the top, you’ll see estimated search traffic, organic keywords, paid keywords, and visibility.
Other stats included with Serpstat are:
- Top 10 organic keywords, including new, lost, improves, and declined
- Keyword position distribution
- Visibility trend graph

6. Website SEO Checker
If you don’t mind ads, Website SEO Checker’s website traffic checker is a truly free tool with no limits and no free account you have to sign up for to use it. It doesn’t give the same amount of detail as the others and only provides domain data (not for a specific page), but sometimes you just don’t need all that data.
With this free tool, you get the top 8 pages of any domain, plus their number of keywords, traffic, and traffic percentage. That’s not too impressive, but you also get the top 50 keywords for the domain, plus position, volume, CPC, and keyword difficulty data. This is much more than the other tools on our list, so if it’s keywords you’re after, this might just be the one for you!
